Year 3! We love our annual pilgrimage down for the Mayan Permit Tournament honoring legendary fly fishing guide Alejandro Vega Cruz aka Sandflea. Each year, we beaming with pride watching our friend, ambassador, and owner of Xflats, Jesse Colton, pull this whole deal off in such a special place. Memories were made with friends new and old and luckily many permit were caught. We’re honored to sponsor this tournament as it supports the economies of the small coastal towns along the Yucatan that are near and dear to our heart.
