Your primary passion in the outdoors is hunting. But, we hear you are starting to get your chops with a fly rod. How is that going for you? You feeling it? 

Fly fishing has become a new passion, just as wingshooting is for me. It’s like hunting—but on the water! Sight fishing for reds, tarpon or other game fish is just something special.

We heard you always wanted to be a cowboy. If you had a horse, what color would it be and what would you name it?

To be a cowboy was the ultimate dream of mine, more so a bull rider. That comes from attending rodeos as a child with my mentor. A blue or red roan would be my dream horse to own! I’d probably name him or her hot shot!

You have been tapped by the state of Florida as an advocate for helping close the diversity gap typically found in sports like hunting and fishing. 
Tell us about that work. Do you have some success stories?

Yes, I have I did a story call waking up with the world a few years back. It was a video to promote more minorities, woman and children that fish to try out duck hunting. The percentage of people who hold a hunting license vs a fishing license is a huge margin. Most people don’t know hunting in Florida is big deal. Turkey, deer, ducks to a number of invasive species Florida is another sportsman’s paradise! 

Rumor has it you once worked at Taco Bell. What was your favorite thing on the menu at the time? 

Dang dude, Taco Bell was my first gig out of the military and at that time it was a steak Chalupa Supreme. Double steak or beef and extra fire sauce with a Baja blast! Run it back haha.

If you were to give Rick from Howler a new hairstyle, what would it be?

Mountain man mullet with that rat tail! Just like my boy, Jay Johnson.
