When the time comes to photograph our spring collection every year, everyone in the Howler crew is full of ideas on where to go.  Namibia! Costa Rica! Seychelles!  Unfortunately, the mighty COVID has kept us close to home for a few years so this year there was a particularly high level of pent up energy. After great debate, we settled on taking a voyage to Mexico for our primary shoot and to send a whole bunch of things off to Uruguay to Howler Ambassador Nacho Pigntaro for a secondary shoot.

Team Mexico set its sights on the Caribbean coast of Mexico - primarily because it is the stomping ground of newly minted Howler Ambassador Jesse Colton.  Nate Floyd, Izzy Preciado and Patrick Duke - all Ambassadors themselves - quickly jumped on board for the voyage.  The itinerary was set.  First, a flight to Cancun, a drive and ferry to the island of Holbox and then a hefty drive to Xcalak.Needless to say, the trip was a blast. Many tacos and cervezas met their end.  We swam in cenotes, fished and mixed it up with locals at every stop.
