I am not a fancy guy, at all. Up until recently, my "uniform" (according to my wife and daughters) consisted of running shorts and a sun hoodie. But then I saw the Gaucho Snapshirt with the osprey and trout on it and bought it on a whim...

I freaking love that shirt. I fish in it, drink craft beers in it, and even sometimes run in it. I love that it reminds me of those tear away basketball pants every time I take it off. I love it so much that I bought another one (the Prickly Pear Gaucho), which I also love. And everyone else (including my wife and daughters) loves it too! I thought maybe their reaction was because I had set such a low bar for my dress code, but after multiple compliments I realized that people in fact really dig these shirts.

It then took a leap of faith in buying the Crosscut Deluxe in that it was a different fabric blend (98% cotton) and it was white-ish, which doesn't typically work well for a dirtbag like me. Faith rewarded! This shirt is just as awesome as the Gaucho, just in different ways. At least for now, the "Flower Power" Crosscut has become my formal wear, for those rare instances where I feel compelled to clean up. Again, more compliments than I am comfortable with, and in addition to being super stylish, it is fits perfectly. We'll see how long it lives in the formal category, as there are too few times that I find myself needing such fanciness.
