The Merlin Jacket was our first foray into making a puffy jacket way back in 2015. We've made a change here or there but the basic magic of the Merlin has stood the test of time ever since. Filled with thermally efficient PrimaLoft© Gold insulation, the Merlin is the perfect stand alone puffy or enchantingly warm mid-layer under a shell when the mercury really dips. Features ribbed cuffs, heavy-duty shoulder patches, double needle quilted sleeves and a box quilted trunk.

    Already had 10 Howler shirts and tried the jacket. Was not disappointed. Great for weather 20 - 50°. Love the deep pockets for hat and gloves so they don't fall out. Real light feel to jacket and not all puffed out

    Needs a waist cinch.

    An inner cinch around waist level would be great to keep air blowing up- the main reason for heat loss. OTW, love the look, fabric, quality, color, fit, and extra length in back. 6foot, 165#, wearing a large. Just a touch baggy, barrel shaped, around waist.
