Our HB Trade Pants are utility pants made for rugged missions into the backcountry or your backyard. We took our inspiration from traditional workwear and added features like bartack reinforced knees and a handy tool pocket. But, to keep them versatile enough for everyday life, we constructed the HB Trade Pants out of blended cotton / spandex fabric with plenty of stretch and high comfort.

    Favorite Pants

    I wear a pair of these almost every day. Easy go-to. I started with the antique black pants, loved em. Then I bought the brown ones, and I like them even more! So much so, I went on a bidding site to purchase the putty pants that HB no longer carries - I have three pairs of these, hoping for more colors in the future! Gray would be sick.

    The pant so good I bought it twice

    I ordered a pair of these pants awhile back. I wear them for everything. I like them so much I ordered another pair just in case HB stopped making this style. Fit is good and they are rugged. Happy.

    Great pants, but don't expect crazy durability

    These pants feel great and fit well. The leg is a little wide for my tastes coming from that other brand that starts with a "K" and ends with an "L", but I'll live. Overall I'm really enjoying the pants and all the quirky pockets they added to them. Time will tell on the durability, but the fabric feels a bit light and soft compared to some of those pants most tradesman actually wear. This is for the guy that can afford Howler but wants to cosplay as a tradesman. So far I like them!

    Good material, good fit

    I’m a guy with big legs and a 35” waist. It’s difficult to find jeans with a 35”waist. I usually have to buy 36” pants. And even with the larger size my legs will be strangled by the pants I buy so I was happy to find pants with the fit a feel I’m looking for.

    A comfortable and versatile pant

    These are a super comfortable pants that are not overly heavy and do not require any break in period. As others have mentioned, these are not double duck heavy duty canvas work pants, which is why I like them so much. While I'm happy to wear my old Carhartts when cutting wood, I love the HB Trade pants for working around the house, garden, or just casual wear. They do run a touch large based on my experience. For reference, I wear a 32/32 in almost all brands including HB, but I had to size down to 31/32 in these. I also like the straight cut leg that is not overly wide or tapered.
